<p>An interactive pool of 5 by 2 meters and only 20 cm deep, Ex-iles was designed by Naziha Mestaoui and Yacine Ait Kaci. The interactive pool is being exhibited at the Biennale of Contemporary Art in Seville starting this October.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.cribfashion.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/electronic01.jpg"><img class="size-full wp-image-1760 aligncenter" src="http://www.cribfashion.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/electronic01.jpg" alt="" width="410" height="393" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="size-full wp-image-1761 aligncenter" src="http://www.cribfashion.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/electronic02.jpg" alt="" width="420" height="500" /></p>
<p>The purpose of this project is to create a connection between the real world and the virtual one. It works as follows: when a &#8220;volunteer&#8221; steps on the &#8220;real island&#8221; (the white circle), signals are sent throughout the pool creating a game of shadows, lights and sounds (the response of the virtual world).</p>
