The Conoid swivel chair created by Designer Bjarke Nielsen for manufacturer Eilersen impresses with its original look and imposing shape. Although it inspires comfort on the back, it is not all that clear if the feet are equally spoiled.

Ellersen informs us that the seat comes in leather and in a variety of fabrics.

These outdoor couches from the Landscape collection by Paola Lenti look very natural and very comfortable.

They are not made of wood, as you probably imagined, but instead of a special material, Technical Yarn. The material is fast drying, resistant to UV, seawater and chlorine, dirt and stains.

The Monte Bello looks like a miniature mountain with a few picks and plenty of plains. But it is mainly a sofa set meant for the entire family, pets included. It’s a interesting design and a very practical one.
Designed, produced and sold by Walking-Chair design studio, Vienna, the sofa has a stunning price of 9000 US dollars. However, the size, the flexibility (you can change its appearance by simply removing or adding sofa units), and the variety of colors make it seem very worthy.

Here’s a nice tip for all of you out there getting really tired of their old furniture items. Transformation! You can use your creativity and make something new and cool out of almost anything, right?
Today’s lesson: rusty old chairs that transform into beautiful planters.
With patience and practice you will probably learn to do great flower designs from unwanted objects in no time. Then not only your yard will look amazing, but you will get to brag about it too.
Now this is a more modern version of a chair planter that you can even place indoors. It is designed by Zhuo Wang and can be purchased from here.
However, when the plant will fully cover the chair, you will not be able to use it for its natural purpose and actually sit on it.

These unusual vases come from Laura Cahill. They are made from second hand books that the designer bought . True or not, she says that “one of the most common unwanted objects that can be found at either charity shops, car boot sales and sometimes on the streets are books” so the decided to transform these old books into “desirable objects such as furniture, lighting and ornaments”.
All in all the idea is very creative and the outcome looks exceptional. But but… why would someone do that to books? No matter how old and up for sale they are.

This stairs-concept was taken to another level when it was embraced by a skating school. However, the skateboard stairs don’t have to be in a related environment to be cool. They just have to be somewhere in the vecinity of a skating fan.
There seems to be no obvious down sides to this design, so if you’re one to enjoy sports this is for you. The idea could also be applied for a tree house or a secret indoor passage.
