It’s called Tre Table (probably deriving from “three”), but the possibilities of using this ingenious furniture item are all up to you.
On the official site it is mentioned that the table can be used as a coffee table, end table, computer desk, or a dinner tray / laptop stand and that it is available in natural walnut veneer, black or white.

This is from Czech designer Jaroslav Jurica.
Although this is meant to be a storage design that combines the new and the old, the modern with the antique, i feel it’s too much of a reminder of high school libraries to be embraced unconditionally by everybody.
However, it is very practical.

Oyule is a lamp set made by industrial designer Sergio Silva.
The idea behind it was “to take a light bulb back in time”- as in when it was well appreciated and stuff, and make it a modern lighting device.

The position of the lamp is ensured by a magnet inside the “bulb” that “glues” to the acrylic surface beneath.

This product is not yet on the market, but you have to admit it’s a pretty neat design idea.
A problem however may appear to be the fact that it’s made of two parts, which makes it a bit harder to move around, dust and whatnot.

I find this to be a very cool lamp, not to mention a great design idea.
“Rundum PANORAMA” has the ability to change its look with every new picture that the owner himself chooses.
The price is steamy, but hey, bet your furniture never “gave” you a close-up of Mount Everest before…

The lamp is only available as white biscuit porcelain.
