Lamp Made out of Latex Gloves

This is one for the do-it-your-self section. What you see in the picture below is a bunch of inflated latex gloves with several light-bulbs inside.
Made by Katarina Britse at Beckman’s College of Design, this chandelier is something relatively easy to do in the comfort of your own house, considering you have a thing for surgical gloves and a system to keep them inflated all the time.

I’d probably fill them with Lucite or something similar to get the shape but not have to worry about inflation.

either that or dilute some poly resin then spray it inside the gloves and keep inflates till they dry and harden.

Remarkable. At first glance, the lamp looked like a sea anemone.
That’s an attractive lamp: particularly considering what it’s made of.

Definitely an easy DIY… but I can’t imagine it would look as cool in the day time.
