This is another idea for saving space in your crowded home. The flexible screen I will write about was design by Christopher Douglas for Material Furniture. It could be used just as a classic screen or as displaying shelf. The circular cut-outs have locking mechanisms, so you can utilize the shelves to display all kind of things.

As I see it, I would use that flexible screen for my terrace to arrange my flower-pots. Each cut-out has 19″ in diameter which means the height when it is open is 9.5″. Some of my flower-pots would fit incredibly well.

The regular screen features only 3 panels, but if you want more, you need to contact the producers. The flexible screen with shelves is available in Maple (standard) or Walnut (+$150). For the moment this item is out of stock.
