Pillows for the kids

Give your kid a pet pillow. This is perfect for a nap in the car, plane or at home. The pillows I found are adorable in my opinion. I am absolutely sure your kid would love to have a friendly cushion and toy at the same time. The pillows are hand-crafted and the materials quality is one of the best.

The pillows are funny too coming in different shapes and materials. They are machine washable in case your kid loves them too much. You can check other details about the kids cushions here.

An office in your bedroom. Or is it a bedroom in your office?

bed-downMultitasking furniture and rooms became more and more appreciated lately, and as you browse the stores or catalogues, you find yourself amazed at all the neat ideas you see. As I was browsing the internet, I came upon this modern, stylish little desk/work station, the Wyman Office Sleeper. When I saw the price, I realized that there’s something tricky about it. Then I saw the description: it was an two-in-one. A work station that can be converted into a one person bed.

Your child’s changing room

child room 2Does anyone remember how fast he or she got bored of their room? How fancy it was when you got to redecorate your room, even if it meant moving a piece of furniture? Well that’s a general problem with kids. They like changes, because as they grow up, they change as well. One of the main concerns in redecorating a room is choosing the color. I, for one, had always had the same paint style in my room, only the color changed. As I grew up, I saw something that hit me: why didn’t I have a half-painted room? Why did I always have to stare at the same, even color? I don’t want my children to have that!

As I surfed the net, I stumbled across various models an methods of half-painted rooms. One of the methods used, is painting the whole room in a base color, and adding different themes or patterns to the bottom and to the top. This is a little more expensive but easier to do, and adds a main theme to the room.child room 1 The other option would be buying wallpapers that are ready made. This is even more easier, but you have limited options in your style. Finally, a third method is buying two kinds of wallpaper, and combining them, by cutting them in half. Be careful though, you might not get what you expect. Don’t get caught up in choosing the color, it is not so important as choosing the right combinations. And another thing: keep in mind that a 4-year-old doesn’t know the difference between blue and cyan. For him both are blue. In other words, don’t try to get the right shade of color for your kid. It’s no difference for him or his friends.
