Lapsi Children’s Chair, the Way to Encourage Children to Read and Write

lapsi-childrens-chair_01_qeFnx_17621

There’s really no telling on how the kids will react when seeing this chair. It is very possible that they will try to hide under it or turn it upside down in the most creative ways. However, his chair was especially designed to store books so perhaps if the children are being explained what the chair is for, their chances of learning something due to this chair will increase.

Bed With Hidden Storage Place

The Chaise-Longue CL2 is a part of the Future Furniture Series, an office of industrial design in Munich.

This is not your usual hide-all-the-stuff-you-don’t-need-under-it-bed, but a modern, classy place to rest with plenty of storage space at your reach.

Unfortunately we do not know the specifications, but assuming the magins won’t be a problem in your sleep, this may just be a great bed. The combination of colors is also well picked.

Donot Foot Rest by Goodmorning Technology is a fun piece of furniture that can be just ornamental or practical.

If you have children, even better: the cushions are enjoyable ways to play around with, sit or relax. Donut consists of three parts: a 32″ wheel with a 16″ hole in the middle and two smaller cushions.

The price is rather steamy(298 $), but who ever said entertainment was cheap?

The Hushamock or the Baby Hammock

The Hushamock was inspired by the original hammock. The hammock origins come from the South America. It was used by Mayans, for sleeping. The hammocks are known for their comfort and health benefits. I have recently presented you Le Beanock – a sort of hammock bed for adults.

Hushamock

HushamockThe baby hammock has proven to provide relief for colic, reflux, short nappers and restless sleepers. Also the baby hammocks represent a proper way for eliminating the risks of smothering and SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) by ensuring baby sleeps on his or her back as doctors recommend in the first critical year.

The Hushamock combines the modernism with the old hammock utility. It consists in a metallic/wooden stand and a hammock. The stands comes in three variants: Hushamok Usana, Hushamok Okoa (limited edition), Hushamok Classic Stand. The hammock is made from high quality pre-shrunk machine washable 100% cotton that is double-lined and backstitched. The colors available are au-natural, and also girlie pink, swimming-‘n-blue, granny apple green and sun kissed orange.

I want to enumerate some advantages of the Hushamock:
- it is the ideal sleeping environment for your baby;
- its unique design and the set of colors used represent a fashionable addition to any room;
- it is durable, lightweight and portable, making it ideal for around the home or packed for travel;
- it is perfect to avoid heath risks and SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome);
- recommend for the restless sleepers.

Hushamock

Attention, the price for the Hushamock is $429.00. Even though, I would buy it for my child’s safety. Truly a piece of art!

Kids room: wall art

Regarding the kids room a parent should consider to decorate it with wall arts. I have bumped into a website specialized in kids products. This site sales wall arts for kids room. Here are some of my preferences:

Wall art

Fairy Castle

Wall art

Wall art

Wall art - planets

Design a funny room for your child using the wall arts. Kids are happier when their room is “different”. Depending on size the wallpapers costs between $54 and $139. They are easy to hang using the included decorative nails and grommets. A part of the profit is donated for charity that directly assists kids. Thus, buying a product helps you in two ways.

Wallpapers for kids room

One of my friends is expecting a baby soon. She will have a girl, so the room should be in pink. The future mommy has drawn the sketches for the room, but she wants some color tints and a few ideas for the walls. So, I came into action. And I am publishing the results:

Pink room

Pink cabinet

Pink&green

Pink room

Personal I love the one with green, white and pink. All the colors are in a perfect balance. If you find these pics useful too, please leave me a message. Sweet dreams!

Kids room flooring

HopskotchIf you want to add something original to your child’s room, especially for a little girl, this Hopscotch carpet idea is suitable enough. It’s both playful and good looking.

There are a few tips in applying this little project:

1. Create your plan in advance, including colors and layout.

2. Make a cardboard template for the numbers to ease your work.

3. Apply a dry brush paint on the carpet in the desired shapes and colors. Be precise and creative.

Now, the idea for your kids is cute, but also predictable. Imagine this little design in your home office, or kitchen, where adults rule the grounds. That would be more intriguing, wouldn’t it? If you live in a flat, I don’t recommend this in your kids’ room, just think of all the arguing with the downstairs neighbors. If you decide to lay down this idea, be sure you won’t regret it. Your children sure won’t.
