Extravagant Furniture: The Perillo Chair

From German designer Martin Ballendat, the Perillo Chair is modernly reinventing the classical concept of sitting.

According to manufacturer Züco Bürositzmöbel, the Perillo chair doesn’t lack anything; “the seat surface, backrest, armrests and sub-frame follow a flowing, uninterrupted line and seamlessly come together to produce a single unit”

Inflatable Outdoor Lights

If having a colorful and “interactive” garden scores high on your “to do” list, here’s a tip on how to achieve that. You can go with the combination of your choice, with dark colors or a more “lively” theme, depending on the overall atmosphere you want your garden to let out. The lights inflate in about ten seconds, so no matter how short-notice a party is, you oculd be prepared.

Combine Modular Planters For A Beautiful Garden

The “Rock garden modular planter” by Alain Gilles can allow one the flexibility of “designing” their own garden.

They can be used to separate different parts of the garden, to highlight terraces or the can be placed randomly just for the fun of it.

Since this post is a bit “green”, we should probably let you know that the material used for creating the modular planters is recycled polyethylene.

Swinging Chair For Six

We found this project on 5 Senses of Istambul, which is a web page belonging to Nil Gulari, a young designer from Turkey.

The presentation for this unusual but interesting “furniture item” goes like this: “ASTER-IST is a swinging sitting unit mused by Istanbul, the Bosphorus, two sides facing each other, the ships on Bosphorus, from coming and going, swaying and from cradle”.

To sum it up, a fun resting spot for friends with a very original idea behind it.

Paul+Paula Hugging Chairs

Paul+Paula are two lovely green chairs that can be fit together once all the guest leave the premises, occupying less space than they would as “single” chairs.

Be careful, though! The idea behind this design is quite nice, you might end up obsessing about keeping them together at all times.

Created by German designer Britta.

Couple Pillow Cases

We found some interesting looking pillow cases that you might want to check out. They are designed by  Third Drawer Down, a company from Australia.

Most of the drawings reproduce contemporary art, but there are many other themes. For example we have the “Good Night” and “Sweet Dreams” pillow cases.

You can find many more here.

Beautiful Washbasin Designs from Kanera

Here’s a creation that is really making waves in contemporary design. The white washbasins from Kanera look amazing. The interaction between the sparkling water and the wavy interior is unique and the creative idea behind this is very original. Elegant but not too fancy, they are fit for almost any kind of decor.

UFO Chairs

UFO is just one of the many interesting design projects found on Fatih Can Sarioz web site. UFO is a resting place for your back, an interesting furniture item that can have a saying in how your room looks and also a swinging chair.

Allthough this is yet only a project, it’s funt to think of all the ways one could sit on this thing.

Kanae Medium Clock

The Kanae Medium Clock was designed by Kanae Tsuamoto in the elegant and refined Japanese style that we are used to.

Made entirely out of  white porcelain, the clock has 10 inches sides, but there are rumors that other sizes are also available.

You can find it at a price of $165 at Zwello.

Color Changing Table

A lovely and cheerful design found at Marais International.

The white coffee table has a glass center which changes color at a push of a button. The control is done through a remote.

All in all I believe the nicest thing about this table is its glow when you turn off the light, the way it can fill the room in pretty colors.
