Packman Chairs – want to play?

The “Poufman living room set” was created by Italian company Qayot and was inspired as you have already guessed by the legendary video game character Packman . If you have nothing more important to do you can play the game here.

As for the living room set, it comes with a range of colored fabrics so it is possible for you to create a series of combinations so that the room will look different every time.

Stilla Outdoor Shower, A Shower Design For Two

Designed by Giorgio Parise, the Stilla outdoor shower from Ceadesign looks very daring. But contrary to its  metal shiny-cold surface, this is a very friendly shower simply because it allows two people bathing in the same time.

The shower heads are adjustable so that you can get the right amount of water pouring down from the desired height.

Paper Clip Chair, Fun To Hang Around

A nice design idea and a practical one also. A chair that folds and then can be hung wherever after usage . Inspired by the simple design of a papre, clip, “Attach” is made by simply using a wooden board on top aof aluminium holders.

The sad part however is that this chair might prove to be more fun to hang around than sit on it due to the fact that it has no back rest.

All in all, its high portability and small volume makes it a furniture item worth considering.

Color Therapy

Color Changing Mood Light is designed by Shiu Yuk Yuen and is based on the concept of color therapy.  The item is turned on by slowly pressing down the top surface. Then the light will start changing, covering the full color spectrum.

The colorful lit cubes are made of silicone rubber, a soft material, not at all rough or inaccesible to touch. A really fun and relaxing gizmo to have around.

Suspended Space Collection

These amazing suspended set of items were designed by Bernstein Architecture.

The stairs above are fully supported by the system of cables so that they don’t move or vibrate. This is also appliable to the unusual shaped table (for twenty people) and for the suspended chair in the pictures below.

Last, but not least, this impressive bed. Sure, it has no feet and all, but it looks original and we understood that the hight can be adjusted.

Eco living by Viva Terra

Environmentalists have put their mark in every industry, promoting recycling and ecological materials. The trend has reached the furniture manufacturers too. We see more often furniture stores that sustain recycling campaigns and the use of only ecological materials.

Viva Terra is such a furniture store. I was surfing their website and I found some interesting eco-products that might interest you.

1. The Teak Lotus Panel – which is a handcrafted wall decor. The manufacturers used recycled rough-hewn teak planks from old dwellings and community buildings from Thailand. Each piece is unique, thus the price goes up to $725 for a 5′x5′ panel.

2. The Branch & Glass Console Table – made out of wood branches. It retails for $495 and it’s also unique.

3. 10,000 Foot Organic Cotton Bedding – inspired by the lines and textures of crop rows, flowers, and irrigation canals in San Joaquin Valley, CA. Pillows have 100% New Zealand wool inserts with organic cotton covers. Perhaps you will find it a little expensive, but it’s something original.

4. Stone Cairn Lamp – The designer used river stones to create a a beautiful lamp. It costs $279.

5. Garden decors – The Owl Family is made from granite and impervious to summer rains, perch wisely on bench, pathway or patio. The guarantee they won’t fly in the night.

I truly recommend you Viva Terra, where you will find other interesting eco-products.
